old lahaina luau
The Old Lahaina Luau probably has the most authentic feel of all the luaus on Maui. Strangers get to know a little bit about one other, and people already acquainted enjoy each other’s company that much more. It might be the Mai Tais, but who knows, with all the employees exuding aloha spirit and warmth it’s hard to not have a great time. It’s also one of the only places in the world where the short tables are desirable. If you pay an extra buck there are seats up front, low to the ground, with pillows for seats and an even more intimate view of the show. The luau provides a feast for the eyes with an elaborate show and some of the most eccentric costumes this side of the Pacific. The seaside setting is breathtaking at sunset and the performances are amazing. From the food and drinks to the drumming and dancing, it’s an unforgettable experience. You will feast under the stars surrounded by heavenly bodies. 1251 Front St., Lahaina, 667-1998.
