Best Place On Maui To See WWII Memorabilia
Story of Hawaii Museum
Not long ago the Story of Hawaii Museum at the Queen Ka‘ahumanu Center opened its expanded 1941 Pearl Harbor Attack exhibit. On display they have a “rare Japanese war situation room map and an initial draft of President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s ‘Day of Infamy’ address to the nation,” according to their website. The museum as a whole is small, but packs in a lot of Hawaii history. There’s also a gift shop, because America. 275 W. Ka‘ahumanu Ave., Kahului; 808-871-4547; Storyofhawaiimuseum.com. @apignataro
