There are only about 10 small tables at the Makawao Garden Cafe, which is tucked in the back of the Paniolo Courtyard, and all of them are outside. The Schaefer International Gallery in Kahului has white walls, hardwood floors and high ceilings. There is no music and the room echoes nearly any and every sound.
