Captive-bred yellow tangs on exhibit at Maui Ocean Center
The Maui Ocean Center has received the first generation of captive-bred yellow tangs to exhibit at the aquarium. The fish come to the Ocean Center via scientists at Hawaii Pacific University’s Oceanic Institute, who in 2015 reached a milestone by becoming the first in the world to raise yellow tangs in captivity.
