The East Maui Watershed Partnership, Maui Invasive Species Committee and the Maui Forest Bird Recovery Project are hosting Maui Mauka Conservation Awareness Training. The event takes place at UH Maui College on Friday, May 13 and all nature-based tour operators are encouraged to attend. The goal is to train Maui’s conservation professionals to communicate reliable information about East Maui’s environment, native species and invasive species to guides so that they can better educate visitors.
