Just heard Hawaii Public Radio’s Beth Ann Kozlovich report that the Hawaii Office of Elections won’t release the first printout of results from our state’s elections because voters aren’t done voting. Something about not enough ballots in various polling places or something. Anyway, look for results around 8:15pm, 8:30pm.
When those results are available, you can find them here, at the state Office of Elections website.
In the meantime, it’s looking like–contrary to MauiTime’s wishes–Green Party candidate Jill Stein will not win the Presidency. Instead, Barack Obama looks to have won a second term, though as of this reporting it’s still a near thing. Also, those cartoonishly stupid Republican Senate candidates who understood neither rape nor female anatomy also seem to have lost their election bids.
Go figure.
