The Lahaina Restoration Foundation is offering $35,000* in scholarships for current and former Lahainaluna High School students for the 2015-2016 school year, according to a Feb. 13 news release from the nonprofit organization.
“Ten scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each and one scholarship in the amount of $2,500 will be awarded to qualifying seniors who will graduate from Lahainaluna High School in 2015,” stated the news release. “Scholarship eligibility requirements include being accepted into an accredited four-year college or university. Additionally, five scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each and one scholarship in the amount of $2,500 will be awarded to currently enrolled full-time college or trade school students in 2015. Eligibility for these scholarships includes being an alumnus of Lahainaluna High School.”
The deadline for applying is 11am on Friday, Mar. 13.
