The new Outlets of Maui–located at the former Lahaina Center on Front Street–celebrates its grand opening on Dec. 6. The celebration will begin at 5:30pm with a traditional Hawaiian blessing by Kumu Hula Kapono’ai Molitau.
The grand opening festivities will feature performances by actor and jazz aficionado Jimmy Borges, Grammy award winner George Kahumoku and recording artist and film star Christina Souza. Borges also will act as the Master of Ceremonies.
The Ulalena Dance Company–and Santa Claus–will also make special appearances.
The new center features retailers including Michael Kors, Guess, Coach, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Brooks Brothers, Gap, Adidas, Izod, Lucky Brand, Banana Republic, Wilson’s Leather, Kay Jewelers, Hilo Hattie, Maui Sunglasses, Crocs, Perfumania, Carter’s Babies & Kids and The Luggage Factory.
Additions scheduled for early next year include Pi Artisan Pizzeria, Sketchers and Wyndham Vacations Resorts.
The center also encompasses the Hard Rock Cafe, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Cold Stone Creamery and Ono Gelato & Espresso Bar. Warren & Annabelle’s Magic Show is also considered part of the new center. And the ABC Store remains.
