The Maui Culinary Academy (MCA), University of Hawaii Maui College (UHMC), Maui No Ka Oi and the Fairmont Kea Lani are presenting their 19th annual Noble Chef fundraiser this Saturday, Oct. 17 at the Fairmont Kea Lani. It raises money for the Maui Culinary Academy by pairing students with Maui’s most celebrated chefs, then challenging them to create an enticing reception menu. This year’s theme–The World on a Plate–will highlight the flavors, traditions and spices of Latin culture. Dinner, entertainment and presentation of Tylun Pang Aspiring Chef Scholarship will follow. You can also enjoy the industry after-party at in the Fairmont Kea Lani’s Lobby Mezzanine. $195-250+. 5:30pm reception; Dinner 7pm; After-party 8:30pm.
