Rum, mai tai

Peju Cabernet, had incredible flavors, perfect balance, and a long finish.


If you could change one thing about the drinks business on Maui what would it be?

Fewer drinks requiring a blender.


What is your favorite happy hour on Maui? Why?

Tommy Bahamas, great bartenders.


What is your bar’s signature drink/wine/beer?

Mama’s Fish House is famous for our Mai Tais.

Balanced Flavors, Tastes great, ease of preparation


Who or what influences you outside of the beverage business?

Chef Perry’s amazing kau kau

Are you kidding? Do you know where I work?


Name one new liquor/beer/wine you tasted recently. What was your impression?

Kenneth Volk “Santa Maria Cuvee” Pinot Noir, A tasty easy drinking wine with great balance and a long finish.


What are your regulars like?

Very Cool


What is one interesting thing about being a bartender on Maui?

That you get to meet people from all over the world.


What makes a good bartender? Why are you one?

A good bartender takes pride in his profession, has a good personality behind the bar, is accurate and can make a drink exactly the same every time.


What is the newest drink you have created? Describe whats in it.

Garden Variety is the name: 1 1/2 oz gin, 2oz Beverage Artistry’s Thai Basil & Black Pepper, Fill with club soda (work in progress, not on the menu yet).
