Your Tutu and Zumba Madness
St. Joseph’s would like to invite everyone to their “Fun Daze Bazaar.” It will undeniably be a smorgesboard of fatty, sugary foods, random dancing, singing, and laughing, and fair-style games.
Emceed by the Hawaiian Homeboy, the stage is sure to be lit up all day, featuring Frank Delima at noon. Right before that, check out the Zumba with Tina Schor performance. Zumba is an energetic dance set to the tone of international and latin music. Around dinnertime, George Kahumoku will also grace the stage.
As for the food, expect your favorite grinds from Auntie’s kitchen and local restaurants. We’ve been promised Pork n’ peas, maui taco plate, laulau plate, mochicko chicken, teriyaki beef plate, hamburger plate, shave ice, chow fun, and malassadas. If your tummy isn’t too weighed down to move, play some of the games, which will be fair standbys, inluding fish pond, stand the bottle, football toss, fat cat, ring toss, face painting, and basketball.
There will be a silent auction for the quiet types, and a live auction for the – I like to jump up and down and draw lots of attention to myself – types. You can win resort stays, rounds of golf, luau dinner shows, dining gift certificates, magic/dinner shows, Expeditions, and more.
There will also be a big ol’ rummage sale and country store.
The festival will last all day: from 9am to 8pm, so there’s no excuse to miss out on the fun and this great opportunity to support St. Joseph’s.
