Commemorate World Whale Day this Saturday at Pacific Whale Foundation’s 34th annual Whale Day Celebration. Whale Day kicks off with a festive parade featuring Grand Marshall Mick Fleetwood, costumed sea creatures, floats, marching bands and live music. Following the parade, there will be family-friendly entertainment, activities, educational displays and more than 70 “Made on Maui” artisans. Various food vendors will be available for purchase. Don’t miss the opportunity to connect with local environmental effort agencies including West Maui Mountains Watershed Project, Sustainable Living Institute Maui Community Garden at UHMC and much more. The green event is a tobacco free and alcohol free. No coolers. Free. Kalama Park (1900 S. Kihei Rd.), mauiwhalefestival.org
