AUGIE T’S SUMMER OF LOL – For the Internet-lingo-oblivious, “LOL” is an abbreviation of “Laugh Out Loud,” something you are pretty much guaranteed to do if you come to Augie T’s Summer of LOL. The night will feature our favorite local comedian/personality Augie T doing what he does best: make everyone LOL with his local kine humor. He’ll also bring guest funny guy Jose Dynamite, who’s been doing stand-up in Hawaii for eight years and opens for Augie T on the road. You’ll for sure LOL, and probably end up ROFL. ALTO GRADO – Spice up your Friday night with some Latin flavor at Lulu’s in Lahaina! Coming all the way from Baja California, Latin band Alto Grado will play a mix of reggae, hip hop, rock and electronic music. DJ Danny will follow. $35 cover. 9:30pm. Lulu’s Lahaina Surf Club & Grill (Lahaina Cannery Mall, 1221 Honoapiilani Hwy. #A1); 808-661-0808; luluslahaina.com; facebook.com/altogrado.tecatebc.
HAWAIIAN MONK SEAL FUNDRAISER – Maui Brewing Company is giving you another reason to drink: Hawaiian monk seals! The MSF puts donations towards protection and conservation efforts. Now there’s something to raise a glass to. No cover. 6pm-12am. Maui Brewing Co. Brewpub (Kahana Gateway Center, 4405 Honoapiilani Hwy.); 808-669-3474; monksealfoundation.com.
