The Lahaina Restoration Foundation is presenting Matagi this Thursday at the Baldwin Home Museum. Comprising ‘ukulele player Marvin Tevaga, guitarist Kalani Miles and bass player Kimo Brehm, Matagi–much like its Samoan translation “wind”–is ever morphing. From weddings to baby first birthdays, this trio entertains Maui in all sorts of ways. Chairs are limited and blankets, mats and low beach chairs are welcome. Free. 6pm-7:30pm Baldwin House Museum (120 Dickenson St., Lahaina); 808-661-3262, LahainaRestoration.org/events
