The Lahaina Restoration Foundation (LRF) invites you to celebrate National Kite Month this Friday and Saturday, April 15 (2-6pm) and 16 (9am-2pm) at the Wo Hing Museum. The two-day Chinese Kite Festival will highlight cultural arts, kite-making, multi-line sport kites and kite fighting demonstrations and more. Indulge in steamed manapua with beef brisket and help make a giant tetrahedral kite. Saturday will culminate with kite-flying–yours and the big one made by festival-goers. Free admission. Wo Hing Museum (858 Front St., Lahaina); 808-661-5553, LahainaRestoration.org/events
