Pu`u Kukui Elementary School‘s Garden Installation Day takes place this Saturday, Aug. 29. Volunteers are invited to roll up their sleeves and kokua with planting beds, irrigation systems installation, paths, mulch, composting/soil building and tilling. The garden will offer students an opportunity to learn about the living garden, as well as offer fresh produce. Closed-toed shoes and sun protection highly recommended. Also, bring your garden tools!
