The Maui Fair is asking all K-12 teachers in Maui County to participate in the annual Maui Fair School Art Exhibit. Teachers are invited to submit student artwork and assist with the installation of the exhibit. Teachers are also required to take down the art exhibit after fair ends.
The 93rd Maui Fair School Art Exhibit is an annual event that presents students an opportunity to exhibit works of art that reveal their knowledge, skills, creativity and talent. It also is an opportunity for the community to view and enjoy a wide variety of quality works of art in both 2-D and 3-D forms.
Student artwork submissions can be made between Sept. 14-16; no late entries will be accepted. The art will be exhibited at the Maui Fair, which runs from Sept. 24-27 this year.
General information for the 2015 School Art Participation–including guidelines and artwork label forms–can be found online at Mauifair.com. Any additional questions can be directed to Angie Abe at 808-573-7265; anabe@ksbe.edu; or Wade Hondo at 808-727-3200.
