After hearing from a number of tourists about raspberry coconuts, and seeing some photos of suspiciously red coconuts, I decided to take a stroll down the beach in Lahaina to check them out myself. I found them quite easily because there were a couple of ladies looking and pointing up into the palm trees of your beachfront house. And there you were, telling stories about raspberry coconuts. You told these Hawaii first-timers that you inject the trees with raspberry syrup in order to make raspberry coconuts. The tale continued with descriptions of pink coconut meat and extra sweet flavors. But you didn’t fool me! I could see that you had painted the coconuts. They were the same red color as your steps!
