The best barbeque meat on Maui comes from a custom Texas-built wood rotisserie smoker, but the folks at Beach Bums attribute it mostly to their use of kiawe and guava wood and their special house-made secret sauces and rubs. Of course, it’s also possible their baby back rib fest Wednesdays and prime rib and lobster fest Tuesdays may have swayed your votes. Their unique Ma‘alaea harbor views don’t hurt, either. 300 Ma‘alaea Rd.; 808-243-2286; Beachbumshawaii.com. @jenrusso
